After the sunset

Sometimes alone
Where is our yellow sun
Knows us from anyone
Keeps us warm in the day
But at night as we lay
The river she carries the heat away
The sun and the river they like to play
After the sunset

And I will not make reverie
For angels I cannot see
Till there's one in front of me
After the sunset
And tide will make whole of me
After the race is run
After all this done
After the sunset

Will you still be tall
When the dreams and the satellites fall
When there's an end to it all
I'll be waiting
And will you make the call
A dirt road or a break in the wall
We don't got nothing at all
Unless we try now

And I will be sure to see
All the beauty I can see
On my way to the heart-shaped sea
Down the river now
And I will make reverie
When you are in front of me
When you are the last thing I see
After the sunset
