to Friday, January 02, 2009 | | Officially the first folk festival of the calendar year, Whare Flat takes place in the beautiful Waiora valley, in the hills 15km behind Dunedin.
Whare Flat is the annual festival of the New Edinburgh Folk Club and is held each new year from the 30th December to 2nd January inclusive (with pack-up and in-town session on the 3rd).
Every performer has a favourite festival, and this has become mine.
And every performer has a "home" festival, and this has become mine.
